Tivy soccer coach among those confirmed dead in recent flooding

Longtime Kerrville Tivy boys soccer Reece Zunker has been identified as one of those who drowned in the recent flooding on the Guadalupe River. 

Zunker and his wife Paula, have been confirmed dead by authorities. Reece and his wife Paula were camping along the river in Hunt when they were swept away by the waters. 

As of Sunday morning, the Zunker’s two children were still missing. 

Zunker was the head boys soccer coach at Tivy for the last 12 years.
