LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. JULY 9

10:49 a.m., 500 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported someone came into the business, showed naked photographs to customers and then left.

11:48 a.m., 33000 block of E. Interstate 10 – A caller reported vandalism on the back of a cell tower.

1:39 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported her vehicle was stolen in the previous six days.

4:09 p.m., 1200 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported being threatened by a co-worker.

9:18 p.m., 100 block of Elm Street – A caller reported someone left a threatening note on the caller’s vehicle.

JULY 10

2:36 a.m., 100 block of Hampton Cove – A caller reported someone flashing a light into the caller’s first-floor window.

11:00 a.m., on Herff Road/River Road – A caller reported two kids on bicycles. The caller said one of the kids grabbed another one around the throat and started getting violent.

1:04 p.m., 100 block of Rattlesnake Bluff – A caller reported receiving a fraudulent check in the mail.

5:28 p.m., 400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a male came over to a group of females, said some odd things, took a picture and quickly left the location.

JULY 11

9:24 a.m., mile marker 542, W. I-10 – A caller reported two vehicles who were swerving and cutting people off.

1:49 p.m., 100 block of Ayshire – A caller purchased a firearm and asked law enforcement to run the serial number.

2:01 p.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller reported a gas-powered boat on the lake, violating the city ordinance.

3:44 p.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller reported a group of swimmers who were jumping from the dam.

JULY 12

9:23 a.m., 1000 block of Grand – A caller reported a theft.

9:53 a.m., Blanco Road/Esser Road – A caller reported an electric truck passing other vehicles in a no passing zone, almost causing a vehicle to wreck.

11:25 a.m., 400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a sign on the side of the road, advertising someone was selling puppies.

4:35 p.m., 32000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a male walking down the access road, carrying a rifle. Law enforcement reported it was just an umbrella.

JULY 13

1:27 p.m., 300 block of S. Brackenridge – A caller reported he was out-of-state, but he could see his ex-girlfriend in his residence, via a security camera. The ex-girlfriend stole money from him two days earlier and told him she was going to break his windows. Law enforcement contacted the woman.

9:28 p.m., on Plant Avenue/James – A caller reported two small dogs running around the area.

9:35 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported hearing multiple gun shots throughout the day. Law enforcement came to the location and found that an individual was throwing firecrackers off their balcony.

JULY 14

12:18 a.m., 200 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported one of his vehicle’s windows was broken. The caller was unsure if anything was stolen.

9:17 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox – A caller reported an argument in the apartment complex. The caller said this was an ongoing issue.

9:24 a.m., 300 block of Lakeview Drive – A caller reported her friend’s ex-boyfriend recently was released from prison and was making meth.

2:09 p.m., 800 block of E. Blanco Road – A manager reported missing lottery scratch-off cards from the location. The caller suspected they may have been stolen.

JULY 9

8:26 a.m., 400 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported a motorcyclist driving between vehicles, heading into oncoming traffic.

12:00 p.m., 100 block of Western Justice – A caller reported construction materials were stolen from the location.

12:21 p.m., 400 block of Vamanos – A caller reported a neighbor ran an extension cord to the caller’s residence and was using his electricity.

12:46 p.m., 1000 block of Front Street – A caller reported her ex-boyfriend withdrew money from her account without her permission.

JULY 10

9:01 a.m., 100 block of Scheele – A caller reported an individual in a truck knew the property gate code and parked on the caller’s property. The caller later told law enforcement that her husband hired a housekeeper and hadn’t told her.

10:11 a.m., 400 block of Mountain Springs Drive – A caller reported a stray cat was fighting with barn cats in the area. The caller suspected the stray cat may be rabid.

4:01 p.m., on Voss Parkway – A caller reported a deer had been shot at the entrance of the school.

8:58 p.m., 300 block of River Ridge – A caller reported she was receiving threatening messages from an individual on Facebook.

JULY 11

10:48 a.m., 1000 block of Front Street – A caller reported money was stolen from her purse.

11:44 a.m., mile marker 522, E. I-10 – A caller reported a “fake police vehicle” on the interstate, flashing police lights at the caller.

2:58 p.m., 30000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported one of the employees punched his window following a verbal altercation regarding the caller not moving his vehicle.

5:28 p.m., 10 block of River Bend Road – A caller reported an RV parked in the “no parking zone” for three days. Law enforcement spoke with the owner, who said he would move the vehicle.

JULY 12

1:24 a.m., 600 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported two teenagers walking around the area. Law enforcement came to the location and found no criminal activity.

7:21 a.m., 600 block of FM 473 – A cow tried making an early getaway but to her udder dismay was caught.

9:39 a.m., 500 block of High Street – A caller reported her mailbox and company vehicle was vandalized during the night. The caller added that food was thrown over the fence which her dog ate, and the caller was concerned about her dog acting oddly.

10:37 p.m., 100 block of Mallard Drive – A caller reported someone shooting off a lot of fireworks in the area.

JULY 13

10:46 a.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported a male who was bleeding and walking around barefoot. The man was detained and EMS was called to provide medical attention.

12:21 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported she accidentally left two bags of fundraising money in the bathroom. When she returned to get them, they were gone.

4:46 p.m., Cravey Road – A caller reported two dogs on his property, chasing his goats.

9:57 a.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – An unamused caller reported loud music from a nearby location, conflicting with his having work in the morning.

JULY 14

12:32 a.m., on Old Comfort Road – A caller reported a woman kept hitting him with a broom. Law enforcement came to the location and separated the individuals for the evening.

2:40 a.m., 20 block of Herff Road – A positive K9 alert resulted in a probable cause search. Two people were subsequently detained.

10:06 a.m., mile marker 528, E. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle nearly ran into several other vehicles and was not maintaining the appropriate speed.

11:09 a.m., 30000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported he was involved in a vehicle collision earlier in the day but was unable to exchange insurance information due to a language barrier.
