The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country announced Tuesday it had dispersed a second round of the more than $60 million raised in flood relief since the devastating July 4 Guadalupe River flood.
Comfort Volunteer Fire Department and the Comfort Area Foundation are among the 35 recipient agencies of the $4.4 million that the foundation released on Tuesday, its second disbursement of funds, the first on July 11 of $5 million in emergency grants.
The foundation went viral to outline the funds being distributed as well as listing the agencies receiving the financial contributions.
