LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

JULY 30

7:32 a.m., on Bandera Road/Main Street – A caller reported a vehicle with out-of-state plates swerving around the road and aggressively passing other drivers.

9:51 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported some items were stolen from his vehicle.

12:18 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported her two vehicles were broken into the previous day.

JULY 31

12:54 a.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a male in the drive-thru who the caller suspected was intoxicated. The caller said the male had red eyes and was struggling to keep them open. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was taken into custody 11:48 a.m., 200 block of W. Highway 46 – A female was taken into custody after a traffic stop.

1:17 p.m., 800 block of Adler Street – A caller reported his rear license plate was stolen during the night.

4:59 p.m., 36000 block of E. Interstate 10 – An employee reported a woman at the location who was harassing her.

6:24 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported someone left a slice of cheese on his vehicle.

AUGUST 1

9:47 a.m., 100 block of Calk – A caller said her phone was stolen after she left it in her vehicle with the window down. An hour later the caller reported she located her phone.

10:47 a.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported purchasing a vehicle, but now being unable to contact the individual who was supposed to be transporting the vehicle.

7:46 p.m., mile marker 533, W. I-10 – A male was reported to have run away during a traffic stop. Other law enforcement was contacted for assistance.

7:52 p.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller was concerned about a van with blacked-out windows that pulled out in front of her, then did a U-turn.

AUGUST 2

1:08 a.m., 400 block of Rosewood Avenue – A caller reported a vehicle pulled into their back parking lot for almost an hour but no one got out of the vehicle.

1:30 a.m., 1200 block of S. Main Street – An employee reported a vehicle parked in their parking lot for over an hour.

8:14 a.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller reported someone tipped over port-o-potties and trash cans at the park. The caller added there was glass left on the side of the road.

3:22 p.m., 100 block of Ayshire – A caller reported finding an AirTag under the carpet of his truck.

AUGUST 3

5:54 a.m., on Cascade Caverns – A caller reported two vehicles loudly driving around the apartment complex. While speaking with dispatch, the caller said the loud vehicles had returned.

6:15 p.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported her vehicle was vandalized. The caller said this was not the first time this occurred.

AUGUST 4

2:21 a.m., 8500 block of Fairway Green Drive – A caller reported finding a bag with gloves and photos in it. The caller told dispatch it appeared to be a purse that was ransacked. Other items were found along the road.

3:21 a.m., mile marker 537, W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the interstate. The vehicle was found stopped in the middle of the road as the driver had passed out.

5:08 a.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported receiving an alert for movement at the front door. The caller also saw some broken glass.

10:03 a.m., 800 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported someone attempted to break into the store this morning. The caller said glass was broken but no one entered the location.

6:42 p.m., 600 block of Rosewood Avenue – A caller reported a large tortoise was crossing their driveway. When authorities arrived, there was not a hare in sight.

AUGUST 5

7:54 a.m., mile marker 538, W. I-10 – A woman was detained after a traffic stop.

6:10 p.m., at Main Street/Christus Parkway – A caller reported someone with a stroller was soliciting by the intersection. The caller expressed concerned about the child being out in the heat.

8:28 p.m., 100 block of Destiny – A caller reported a vehicle driving very slowly through the neighborhood.

8:43 p.m., 300 block of Lott – A caller reported her fiancé’s boss showed up intoxicated and took the work vehicle.

 

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

JULY 30

2:58 a.m., 200 block of Highway 289 – A caller reported a male walking around on the caller’s property. The caller said he told the man to leave the property but he was not sure if he’d left. Law enforcement located the male and provided a courtesy ride.

4:47 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox – A caller reported three car alarms had been going off for over an hour.

8:09 a.m., 100 block of Madrone Trail – A caller reported a drone flew into her backyard and was hovering by her window.

2:34 p.m., 300 block of Los Indios Ranch Road – A caller reported his trash can was stolen the a week earlier.

JULY 31

7:23 a.m., 600 block of Altgelt -- A caller reported she caught a fox and wanted help in case it was rabid.

10:13 a.m., 200 block of N. Highway 87 – A caller reported two aggressive pit bulls running around her yard again.

10:52 a.m., 300 block of FM 474 – Fifteen goats were unintentionally blocking the road as they were on their way to do some b-a-a-a-aack-to-school shopping.

2:52 p.m., 200 block of Alta Drive – A caller reported an unfamiliar vehicle parked in front of the caller’s property. The caller said the occupant appeared to be sleeping.

AUGUST 1

7:49 a.m., 3000 block of FM 473 – A caller reported a motorist, unable to keep his vehicle in his lane, was drifting into oncoming traffic.

9:11 a.m., 100 block of Kendall Ridge – A caller requested assistance with a trapped armadillo on his property.

4:56 p.m., 100 block of City Lake – A caller reported a group of teenagers engaged in underage drinking at Boerne Lake.

AUGUST 2

7:22 a.m., 100 block of Blue Heron Boulevard – A caller reported a deer running around with a Home Depot bucket stuck on its head.

9:44 a.m., 1000 block of Clubs Drive – A caller needed assistance with two raccoons on the property.

10:48 a.m., mile marker 537, E. I-10 – A male was detained after a traffic stop. A tow truck was called for his vehicle.

2:04 p.m., 600 block of E. Highway 46 – A two-vehicle collision occurred. One of the vehicles’ airbags were deployed. Three occupants required medical attention.

4:36 p.m., 100 block of Simpatico – A caller reported hearing nine gunshots in the area.

AUGUST 3

10:19 a.m., 900 block of S. Highway 87 – A caller reported a collision occurred while one of the vehicles was pumping gas.

11:08 a.m., on Upper Cibolo Creek Road – A caller reported someone was fraudulently using his TABC license to sell alcohol.

1:52 p.m., mile marker 545, W. I-10 – A caller reported two vehicles on the interstate who the caller suspected were racing.

8:29 p.m., mile marker 523 of W. I-10 – A caller reported a male was walking on the interstate and threw a stick at the caller’s vehicle. The caller added the stick left a dent in the vehicle’s bumper.

AUGUST 5

4:34 p.m., 100 block of Spring Valley Cove – A caller reported someone was using her credit card information at H-E-B.

5:51 p.m., 100block of Upper Balcones Road – A caller reported her child was bit in the face by a dog.

6:08 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – An 18-wheeler cab was reported to be on fire. The Comfort F.D. was called to the scene and the fire was quickly extinguished.

8:56 p.m., 200 block of Savannah Jon Boulevard – A caller reported her neighbor’s dog and goats invited themselves into her backyard.
