A worker climbs to access the arch on the Fair Oaks Ranch “Gateway Project” on Fair Oaks Parkway, about a quarter mile from the Interstate 10 access road. Construction on the $224,000 project began in June. The city has been without a “welcome” sign since a previous sign was removed due to I-10 construction several years ago.
