A 67- yearold Boerne man remained behind bars Friday charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.
John Kenoyer is in the Kendall County Detention Center in lieu of posting bonds totaling $315,000, according to court records.
He was accused in warrants of possession of child pornography- younger than 10 years old and possession of lewd visual material depicting a child.
Kendall County sheriff ’s investigators received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that child sexual-abuse material was being uploaded to the internet in Kendall County, according to a news release.

Authorities traced the upload to a local residence, deputies said.
Officials said a conviction for transporting (including mailing or shipping), receiving, distributing and possessing child pornography with the intent to distribute or sell can carry a term of five-20 years per offense.
Possession of child pornography is punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison, and does not carry a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment, according to statutes.
