SAN ANTONIO — A Boerne man died Tuesday in the aftermath of a fiery two-vehicle collision involving a ride-hail vehicle on the city’s far West Side.
Police rushing to the mishap at Culebra and Ingram roads found passenger Ralph Reynolds, 60, trapped inside an Uber engulfed in flames.
Once firefighters arrived and extinguished the blaze, they removed Reynolds from the auto and began resuscitation efforts, but could not save him, investigators said.
Reynolds died at the scene.
Two others involved in the collision were transported to a hospital — one in serious condition and the other with only minor injuries, police said.
The accident is still under investigation, officials said.
