Three Boerne ISD football players will participate in this weekend’s San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game presented by Valerio that will be held in the Alamodome.
Saturday’s game features 118 seniors from the greater San Antonio area representing 68 high schools and both Boerne Champion and Boerne High have players scheduled to suit up for Team Blue that will be coached by Johnson’s TP Miller.
Champion wide receiver Brogan Dempsey, along with Boerne High wide receiver Eli Nikolas and Boerne High defensive lineman Blake Burkholder are scheduled to play in Saturday’s game that will be televised locally on CW 35.
Team Blue’s opponent, Team White, will be coached by Alex Franco of Southwest High School.
Saturday’s local allstar contest will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and follows the Navy All-American Bowl that starts at 12:30 p.m. earlier that day. The Navy All-American Bowl features some of the top high school players from around the country.
In last year's 2025 local game, 67 players signed to play college football, including 11, who went to NCAA DI institutions. A total of 106 players were named all-district, and 9 were district MVPs.
