Boerne High played in one last regular-season girls soccer tournament last weekend in the Austin area.
The Lady Greyhounds were entered in the 2026 Governor’s Cup tourney in Georgetown and posted a 1-2 record at the event.
BHS coach Jeremy Shannon said it was a good tournament to participate in because they faced stiff competition.
At the event, the Lady Hounds opened with a 4-0 victory against Georgetown Eastview.
From there, Boerne dropped its next two matches by the identical scores of 2-0. BHS fell to Highland Park on Friday and was defeated by Grapevine on Saturday.
The Lady Greyhounds are 4-2 and began district play at Wagner on Tuesday. They host Kerrville Tivy on Friday.
