BHS boys drop district game to Unicorns

Boerne High dropped its second straight boys district basketball game after the Greyhounds were defeated on the road at New Braunfels last Friday.

The Unicorns recorded the 69-54 victory over BHS and dropped the Greyhounds to 13- 11 overall and 3-3 in district.

Boerne closes out the first round of district this week and visited Wagner Tuesday. They are at Kerrville Tivy Friday, and the Hounds are tied for fourth place with three others team – Champion, Kerrville and Alamo Heights at 3-3.

Veterans Memorial is leading the league at 5-1, New Braunfels is in second at 5-2 and Pieper stands in third at 4-2 as the teams get ready to close out the first round of district play this week.
