The Comfort High girls dropped their last two district basketball games after suffering losses to Blanco and Ingram.
Comfort is 4-12 overall and 1-2 in district. They hosted Llano on Tuesday and visit Brady on Friday.
Vs. Blanco
Comfort High hosted archrival Blanco and the Lady Panthers were able to hand the Comfort Deer their first loss in league play.
Blanco defeated the Deer, 49-18.
Comfort had a hard time getting its offense going and never scored more than five points in any of the four quarters.
Blanco was up 14-5 after one period and then doubled up the Deer in the second, 10-5, to take a 24-10 lead into halftime.
The Panthers won the third quarter, 8-5, and then closed it out by outscoring Comfort in the final stanza, 17-3.
Vs. Ingram
The Deer were at Ingram last Friday and were defeated by the Lady Warriors, 60-8.
Comfort was down 12-3 at the end of one and was outscored in the second period, 17-0, to fall behind 29-3 by halftime.
CHS finished with 3 in the third and 2 in the fourth, while Ingram tallied 18 and 13 over the final two stanzas.
