The Geneva School of Boerne girls swim team placed third at the recent SAISD Invite after scoring 76 points.
At the meet, the 200-yard medley relay of AnnaClaire Bussey, Ruby Svendsen, Abigail Bussey and Ella Owens placed third after posting a 2:15.72, while Abigail Bussey also won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:33.79.
Svendsen was 2nd in the 50 free with a 30.46 and Owens came in 6th in the race with a time of 32.47, while Abigail Bussey won the 100-yard freestyle after recording a 1:01.63 and AnnaClaire Bussey was 4th in the race with a time of 1:06.79.
The two Bussey girls, along with Owens and Svendsen teamed up to win the 200-yard freestyle after they combined for a 2:01.50.
AnnaClaire Bussey placed 3rd in the 100 backstroke with a 1:17.85 and Svendsen took second in the 100 breaststroke with a finishing time of 1:25.84.
Geneva swims on Monday, Jan. 26, at the TAPPS regional meet.
