Geneva School of Boerne’s head football coach and one of the players on the team both received postseason awards from the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools.
Geneva head football coach Bob Rosenstiel has been named the TAPPS Division III Coach of the Year.
Under Rosenstiel’s leadership the Geneva varsity football team reached the TAPPS Division III semifinal game where they lost to eventual state champions Lubbock Christian.
Rosenstiel has a distinguished football background, including a successful professional playing career in the NFL and the XFL, complemented by valuable experience coaching at the high school level.
Geneva junior signal caller Caleb Quitadamo was named the TAPPS Division III Quarterback of the Year after leading the team to the state semifinals.
