Wolfe running for Justice of the Peace Place

1 BOERNE — Boerne resident Adriann Wolfe has announced her candidacy for Kendall County Justice of the Peace Place 1.

This is the first campaign for public office for the U.S. military veteran and educator, having retired with more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy and 10 years in military law enforcement.

Wolfe serves as an adjunct professor in business and leadership studies, and is a consultant who works with small businesses on operations, compliance and organizational development. Her background includes a degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University.

“My decision to run is rooted in long-standing community involvement and a desire to serve at the local level in a role that emphasizes fairness, accessibility and sound judgment,” Wolfe said.

For many residents, she said, the Justice of the Peace court is their first interaction with the legal system. Whether it involves a traffic citation, small claim, or housing issue, these moments can be stressful and confusing.

“The court should be a place where people are treated with fairness, clarity, and respect,” she said. “I look forward to continuing conversations with neighbors across Boerne about justice that truly serves the community. Because justice doesn’t begin far away, it starts right here at home.”

Wolfe is opposing current Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Michele Van Stavern on the March 3 ballot.
