SAN ANTONIO – The Boerne ISD swim teams competed at last week’s District 28-5A swim and dive meet and it was a strong showing by the Chargers and Greyhounds.
In the final girls standings, the Lady Chargers took first with 198 points and the Lady Greyhounds were second with 133 points. On the boys side, the Champion boys made it a clean sweep after they also captured first with 201 points, while the BHS boys were sixth with 36 points.
The top six finishers in each event advance to regionals scheduled for Feb. 6-7 at the Southwest ISD Natatorium, the same place where the district meet was held. The UIL state swim meet is scheduled for Feb. 20-21 in Austin on the UT campus.
