The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
JANUARY 14
11:30 a.m., 400 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported a male exiting the building with a large kitchen knife.
2:25 p.m., 1000 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported a woman claiming she was with law enforcement was going around, asking for money.
4:14 p.m., at School and Main Streets – A caller reported two women at the gas station asking people for money.
9:42 p.m., Main Street/Rover Road – A caller reported her car had been struck by another vehicle and she was injured. The caller said she had bruising on her side and would be going to the hospital.
JANUARY 15
6:41 a.m., at Herff Ranch and River Road – A male was detained after a probable cause search during a traffic stop.
10:27 a.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a vehicle theft that occurred in December.
12:13 p.m., 1000 block of E. Blanco Road – A caller reported she received a fraudulent email.
5:28 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a male took pictures of the caller’s license plate.
JANUARY 16
12:19 a.m., 800 block of Adler Road – A caller reported she was able to enter her home but now her keys were stuck in her door.
4:40 a.m., 36000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported she got a text demanding she pay money. The caller said she got another text from the individual with her address 7:47 a.m., 900 block of Adler Road – A caller reported he saw a small child crawl into a drainage ditch at the location.
9:21 a.m., 200 block of W. Boerne Harbor – A caller reported his headlight was stolen from his vehicle.
10:37 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road – A caller reported his vehicle was broken into during the night.
11:45 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road – A caller reported his taillight was stolen from his vehicle during the night.
12:58 p.m., 100 block of Herff Road - A caller reported his taillights were stolen off his vehicle.
JANUARY 17
5:45 a.m., 700 block of Johns Road – A caller reported their trash was on fire. Boerne F.D. came to the location and extinguished the fire.
8:10 a.m., 400 block of W. Irons Road – A caller reported his house was broken into earlier in the week.
11:24 a.m., 100 block of Boulder Creek – A caller reported someone attempted to break into their residence.
4:32 p.m., 100 block of Bentwood Avenue – A caller reported a vehicle at the location with a shredded tire.
JANUARY 18
7:33 a.m., 500 block of Frey Street – A caller reported her carbon monoxide detector was still going off despite changing out the batteries.
2:34 p.m., River Road/Esser Road – A caller reported another vehicle rear-ended hers, but the second driver was claiming they did not.
4:10 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a suspicious looking male walking around vehicles in the service bays at the location.
6:41 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a male dressed in all black at the location with a backpack. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was detained.
JANUARY 19
9:27 a.m., 200 block of Miraval – A construction crew reported they hit a gas line. Boerne F.D. responded to the location.
10:26 a.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported finding a stray dog in the area.
2:13 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported his phone was stolen from the location. The caller called back an hour later and reported his phone had been recovered.
4:45 p.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported someone was using personal images of the caller against him as blackmail.
5:58 p.m., Hampton Bend/Hampton Run W. – A caller reported someone driving in front of her dumped around five to t10 gallons of antifreeze on the road.
JANUARY 20
9:36 a.m., 34000 block of I-10 – A caller reported seeing a hit-and-run incident on the interstate.
10:56 a.m., 100 block of Sage Canyon – A caller reported an intruder was inside the home. The caller said the intruder was previously hired for work.
12:26 p.m., 100 block of Aransas Pass – A caller reported an individual was sitting in a vehicle across the street from the caller’s house.
6:12 p.m., 1600 block of River Road – A caller reported an individual involved in a theft earlier in the day came to the location and stole more merchandise.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
JANUARY 14
6:50 a.m., mile marker 530, E. I-10 – OnStar reported a vehicle colliding with a deer. The vehicle was reported to be smoking and injuries were initially unknown. Emergency services responded and no injuries were reported.
8:01 a.m., mile marker 525, W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle rollover. The caller said two males were out of the vehicle and walking. A head injury was reported on one of the occupants.
11:27 a.m., 100 block of River Ranch Road – A caller requested assistance with a dog killing his sheep.
3:09 p.m., 100 block of City Park Road – A caller reported a male exposed himself to a staff member. The caller reported the male returned to the location.
6:10 p.m., 10000 block of North Creek Road – A caller reported someone broke into the location. The caller said boards were sawed through to enter the location.
JANUARY 15
6:47 a.m., 200 block of FM 474 – A caller reported her husband came into their residence and told her he hit a school bus. Emergency services responded to the scene and found there were no injuries.
12:05 p.m., 100 block of Daisy Lane – A caller reported her vehicle got hit by another vehicle while parked on the side of the road. The caller said the other vehicle did not stop and drove away.
1:32 p.m., Fabra Oaks Road – A caller reported receiving three calls from a woman claiming to be raising money for the police department.
7:07 p.m., 1000 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported a vehicle on the side of the road full of “stuff” and unoccupied. Law enforcement made contact with the vehicle and found the driver was taking a nap because he was feeling drowsy.
JANUARY 16
8:02 a.m., 200 block of Laughing Dog – A caller reported three houses were broken into the previous night.
9:35 a.m., 200 block of Laughing Dog – A different caller reported additional houses were broken into and around $1,000 worth of materials were stolen.
11:30 a.m., 32000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported check fraud regarding a $7,000 check.
2:42 p.m., 200 block of Rusty Lane – A caller reported someone threatened to physically harm him. The caller said he got into an argument with a family member earlier in the day and the caller wanted the threat documented.
JANUARY 17
8:00 a.m., on Blaschke Road – A caller reported people were wandering around the property, camping out. The caller said he could see smoke coming from the area.
2:25 p.m., 800 block of FM 289 – A caller reported contact was made in an ongoing dispute between her son and his former friend.
3:16 p.m., mile marker 539, E. I-10 – A caller reported seeing a hand dangling from a vehicle pulling a trailer. The caller told dispatch he could not tell if it was a real hand or not. Law enforcement came to the location and found it was just an animal.
JANUARY 18
1:26 p.m., 900 block of Front Street – A caller reported his credit card was charged for $600 in another city in Texas.
8:42 p.m., 800 block of N. Highway 87 – A caller reported they were involved in a hit-and-run collision. The caller said it was initially filed with Gillespie County but was transferred over.
JANUARY 19
7:22 a.m., 100 block of Escalera Circle – A caller reported they trapped a raccoon at their residence.
9:24 a.m., 300 block of Seewald Road – A caller reported her mother left her phone at the Toyota dealership but it was now pinging at a different location. The phone was successfully located.
1:14 p.m., 600 block of Marquise – A caller reported paying someone $20,000 over the summer for a job that still was not completed. The caller provided dispatch with information about the company.
3:01 p.m., 200 block of Red Oak – A caller reported finding a “crack pipe” in her yard.
JANUARY 20
8:56 a.m., 20 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported two males at the location who were attempting to access his property. The males said they were with a local electric company, but their vehicle had out of state license plates.
11:43 a.m., Cypress Creek Road – A caller reported someone was outside the business for the past two days. The caller said he was concerned the individual was “casing” the area.
12:33 p.m., 100 block of N. Smokey River – A caller reported he did work at the location and the client was not only refusing to pay but was threatening the caller.
1:53 p.m., 200 block of Cascada – A caller reported someone stole wood from the location.
2:34 p.m., on N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a vehicle stolen from this location.
