FAIR OAKS RANCH — Fair Oaks Ranch presents its 2026 State of the City Address Thursday, to discuss the past year and what is on the horizon for its residents, businesses and stakeholders.
The annual event begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Spring Creek United Methodist Church, 28970 Old Fredericksburg Road, where Mayor Greg Maxton will act as emcee and lead the review.
During the presentation, Maxton will provide insights on the city’s priorities, accomplishments and plans for continued sustainable growth and development. He will also share details regarding the management of growth and the status of current and future developments.
The evening also will feature staff highlights to recognize city employees. This includes recognition of employees of the quarter and announcement of the city’s Employee of the Year.
A significant portion of the address will focus on quality essential services and infrastructure projects. This includes yearly road maintenance, the reconstruction of Dietz Elkhorn, Ammann Road and Rolling Acres, and updates on the Texas Department of Transportation bridge and FM 3351 widening. Water and wastewater improvements will also be featured.
