But Councilman Jonathan Swarek drew an opponent, Matthew Reigelsperger, in his bid to return to his Place 6 council seat.

In Boerne, District 1 Councilman Ty Wolosin and District 3’s Kyle Mickelsen remained unopposed as of noon Friday.

And in the Boerne Independent School District races, board President Kristi Schmidt in Place 6 and board Secretary Rich Sena in Place 7 have not seen any challengers.

Early voting is April 20 through April 28. The last day to register to vote is April 2. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 2, Election Day.
