The Comfort High boys basketball team took care of business last Friday and played for a share of the district title Tuesday against Blanco.
Comfort beat Florence last Friday on the road, 48-28, and improved to 8-1 in district (23-9 overall). Blanco also won its game last Friday and remained unbeaten in league play at 9-0 (21-5).
A Comfort win on Tuesday vs. Blanco would put both teams at 9-1 in district, and they would be tied for first and may leave it there.
Blanco is going to the big school bracket, and Comfort is going to the small school bracket, so they would just end the season as district co-champs and tied for first.
