Geneva tennis team takes to the court

The Geneva School of Boerne tennis team played Cornerstone and Regents School of Austin to open the spring season.

The Eagles lost to the Warriors, 10-3, and beat Regents 13-5. Geneva was in action this week against SA Christian.

Vs. Cornerstone

In boys doubles, Geneva’s Grant Dillinger and Alex Malouf won their match, 8-4.

In boys singles, Geneva’s Jared Bass won 8-1, and Grant Hakspiel also picked up an 8-4 victory.

In mixed doubles, Grant Dillinger and Rebekah Burkhart won, 8-3.

Vs. Regents

In girls singles, Allie Gerch won, 8-0 and Naomi Bowser won, 8-2.

In boys singles, Ray Reynolds won, 8-3; Walker West won, 8-0; Reynolds won another match, 8-1; and Jared Bass won, 8-0.

In boys doubles, Mason Sutton and Christian Vis won 8-1 and in girls singles, Naomi Bowser and Allie Gerch won, 8-1; Sophie Crews and Elizabeth Anderson won, 8-6 and Bekah Burkhart and Audrey Garcia won, 8-1.

In mixed doubles, Audrey Lapacka and Jared Bass won, 8-3.
