The Boerne High soccer teams were in action last Friday and played Veterans Memorial in a couple of district matches.
Boerne High faced Smithson Valley Tuesday and plays Boerne Champion on Friday.
Varsity Girls
The Boerne High girls hosted Veterans Memorial last Friday and rolled to the 6-0 victory.
It’s Boerne’s third shutout in a row and improves their district mark to 7-3-1 (11-5-1 overall) with five matches left in 26-5A.
The Lady Hounds were at Smithson Valley on Tuesday and host Boerne Champion on Friday.
Varsity Boys
Veterans Memorial has played much better in the second round of district, but the Greyhounds still managed to sweep the Patriots in both matches.
In their first meeting, the Boerne boys were victorious 9-0, and while last Friday’s match was a lot closer, the Greyhounds still won via a shutout on the road, 3-0.
BHS improves to 7-2-2 in district (9-3-2 overall) and is sitting in third place in the 26-5A standings with four matches left.
The Greyhounds hosted Smithson Valley on Tuesday and will visit Boerne Champion on Friday.
