Editor, I want to thank the Boerne Star for the excellent section on Senior Health (Sunday, Feb. 21 issue).
Every article hit home; but I found the pieces on mental health and Alzheimer’s disease to be particularly important.
There still is no cure for Alzheimer’s disease. The Alzheimer’s Association, The Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research and locally the Biggs Institute all are working to find a cure and to help patients and caregivers cope.
I encourage everyone to support these institutions and to keep reading the Boerne Star.
