The Bobcat baseball team picked up a lopsided win Tuesday night over Sabinal.
Comfort scored 18 runs in the second inning alone on its way to a 28-5 win in three innings at Sabinal.
The Cats improved to 4-1-1 overall and are playing in the Kenedy Tournament this weekend.
Comfort had a good start and scored 6 runs in the top of the first, but Sabinal cut the lead in half with 3 runs to make it 6-3.
The Bobcats blew it open in the top of the seventh by sending 24 batters to the plate to score its 18 runs. Sabinal pitching gave up 8 walks in the inning to go with 2 errors, while Comfort banged out 5 hits and had a hit batter.
Augie Diaz de Villegas tripled in the inning to clear the bases, while Dax Stehling and Travis Gwaltney both doubled.
Comfort finished with 10 hits and took 18 walks. Diaz de Villegas and Mason Matt both tripled, while Diaz de Villegas, Stehling, Rhyder George and Gwaltney all doubled.
Diaz de Villegas scored 5 runs, Gunner Carpenter plated 4 runs, while George, Cade Woerner and Matt Kemp all crossed home plate 3 times.
Zach Jones, Nic Carlos and Owen Schulze all tossed in the game and Carlos struck out 3.
