Both Geneva School of Boerne soccer teams punched their tickets to the TAPPS state soccer tournament after they won their regional championship matches this week.
The Lady Eagles played Providence Classical School from Spring in Luling on Wednesday and won, while the Geneva boys took on New Braunfels Christian Academy Thursday at Blossom Athletic Complex and also picked up a victory.
Geneva will play at the girls state tourney March 3-4 and the boys will play at state on March 5-6.
Varsity Girls
The Geneva girls left little doubt about who the better team was after the Lady Eagles recorded the 9-0 victory.
Geneva improved to 15-5-4 overall
Varsity Boys
Geneva earned the 3-1 win on Thursday night in San Antonio to qualify for state.
The Eagles are 10-1-2 overall.
