The Geneva girls soccer team won their state semifinals game against district foe Schertz John Paul II and will play for the TAPPS state title against McKinney Christian Academy on Wednesday in Round Rock, 2:30 p.m.
Geneva was 0-1-1 against Schertz JPII with a 0-0 tie and a 1-0 loss but the Eagles took care of business Tuesday with a 2-0 win.
Geneva Boys
The Geneva boys will play in their state semis game on Thursday, 3 p.m., against British International School of Houston. Thursday's winner plays for the state championship on Friday.
