Geneva’s Chandler clears 15-0 in Bandera to set venue record in pole vault

At the recent Bandera Invitational track and field meet, Geneva School of Boerne’s Brady Chandler set a venue record in the pole vault.

Chandler cleared 15-0 to set a stadium record in Bandera on Feb. 26, and was a foot better than the second-place finisher. By clearing 15-0, Chandler matched the Geneva school record he set last year as a junior.

Chandler also won gold in the long jump in Bandera with a leap of 20-3, while Mikhail Boespflug was sixth in the discus with a throw of 124-8 and Boespflug took sixth in the shot put with a toss of 38-7.50 for the Geneva boys team that earned 22 points.

Varsity Girls

The Geneva girls tallied five points after Gracyn Miller finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 30-5 and Miller also flung the discus 76-10 for sixth.
