Geneva stringers have been playing a lot of tennis lately

The Geneva School of Boerne tennis team has played in a lot of matches over the last few weeks. Between Feb. 9 – March 4, the Eagles have played six different matches and have been entered in two different tournaments.

In its six matches against other teams, the Eagles went 4-1-1 and stand at 5-2-1 overall.

Geneva defeated San Antonio Christian, 13-1, tied Hyde Park 9-9, lost to St. Mary’s Hall, 7-5, beat St. Anthony, 7-1, topped Veritas, 12-1, and knocked off Hill Country Christian, 7-3.

In tournament play, the Eagles were entered in the Central Catholic on Campus Invitational and placed fourth overall with a record of 3-1.

The Eagles were also entered in the TTC Private Schools State Invitational Tournament in College Station and went 2-2 after the Eagles beat Legacy Christian School of Frisco, 11-0, beat TMI-Episcopal, 7-6, lost to Plano John Paul II, 7-2, and lost to AWTY International School, 7-1.

After spring break, the Eagles resumed their spring season this week.
