Boerne Champion’s Elizabeth Leachman is hoping to resume her running career soon and recently signed a national letter of intent with Stanford University.
Stanford has agreed to hold a spot for the former national champion, but she won’t be a part of the team until she’s able to race. Leachman has battled health issues and hasn’t raced for more than a year.
