Golf teams from Geneva School of Boerne competed at the TAPPS 4A Regional Golf Tournament held at the Oso Beach Golf Course in Corpus Christi earlier this week and both Eagles teams played well enough to advance to state.
The Geneva girls finished second with a team score of 373 and were led by sophomore Aniston Dennis, who shot a 74 for a second-place medalist finish.
The Geneva boys placed fourth with a team score of 330, with Wells Crawford (77) and Win Crawford (78) finishing fourth and ninth in the individual standings.
Both Geneva teams will advance to the TAPPS state tournament scheduled for May 4-5 in Waco.
