Chargers play Southwest Dragons in second round of 5A baseball playoffs; Comfort wins on Monday to advance

Boerne Champion moved on to the second round of the 5A baseball playoffs and will play Southwest this week in a best-of-three series.

All games will be at Northside Field 3 starting Thursday, 7 p.m. 

Friday's Game 2 is at 7 p.m. and a third game if needed, will be Saturday, noon. 

COMFORT HIGH

Comfort defeated Merkel Monday in Brownwood on Monday, 7-4.

The Bobcats advance to face Jacksboro in the second round, all games in Brownwood.
