SAN ANTONIO - Champion's Zak Al-Arashi had the hit of the series Saturday afternoon against Southwest in Game 3 of their series.

Al-Arashi blasted a 2-run home run over the center-field wall for the 2-0 lead in the fifth inning and Champion never looked back. They added 4 more runs in the sixth and closed out the Dragons, 6-0.

The Chargers advance to the third round to face La Joya Palmview in the third round. Details TBD.

Owen Kuhl tossed a complete shutout on Saturday and only gave up 5 hits and 1 walk in seven innings for the win.

Comfort High

Comfort dropped Game 1 in their best-of-three series to Jacksboro Friday night, 8-0.

Game 2 was late Saturday afternoon and the Bobcats need to win two to advance.
