A lucky customer joining the flock at the grand opening of Chicken Salad Chick Wednesday morning could fly away with free chicken- salad cartons every week for a year.
The restaurant’s debut kicks off at 9 a.m. with a Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 34702 Interstate 10 West. Chicken Salad Chick becomes the first business to open its doors in the Boerne Town Center on Norris Lane, off I-10.
Sponsors are raising the roost about a day promising culinary rewards for the first 100 customers that features giveaways, promotions and pet adoptions.
The Atlanta-based restaurant chain will then open at 10 a.m., company officials said.
According to a release, the first guest in line June 3 will receive one free, large Quick Chick container of chicken salad per week for a year.
The next 99 guests will receive a no-cost, large Quick Chick container of chicken salad each month for a year.
The new store, which sought a Boerne location for four years, will employ 40 to 45 people and is hiring both hourly and management roles, the company said.
