Several members of the Hill Country Comets competed at the Nike Outdoor Nationals and at the Under Armor Nationals.
At the Nike Outdoor Nationals, Justus Cloutier took first place in the shot put middle school division.
Brady Chandler competed in the pole vault in the emerging elite division, Gage Steubing ran in the 400 meters in the middle school division and Emily Reyes threw the shot put in the middle school division.
At the Under Armor Nationals, Cloutier captured third in the shot-put middle school division and was fourth in the discus middle school division.
Also, Steubing placed sixth in the 100 hurdles middle school division and also came in ninth in the 200 hurdles middle school division.
All the athletes are coached by the Hill Country Comets, a local elite track-andfield club dedicated to providing top-tier resources that help young athletes excel both on and off the track.
