The Greyhound volleyball team faced Creek View on the road Tuesday for a non-district match. The new high school that just opened in Medina Valley ISD is in its first season and working to build their program.
Creek View is working hard, but Boerne High didn’t have too many problems and beat the Lady Cougars in straight sets, 25-6, 25-11, 25-13.
The Greyhounds improved to 6-2 overall and are entered in the SAISD tourney this week. They’ll face Jefferson, Holy Cross and Roosevelt on the first day in pool play.
Against Creek View, Kiley Coffland finished with 13 digs, Mallory Miles added 6 kills and 3 digs, Riley Caldwell chipped in with 7 digs and 9 kills, Lauren Magnus tallied 16 assists and dropped in 3 aces, Ava Seamans recorded 7 kills and 5 digs, Bella Pettet chipped in with 6 digs and 9 kills and Brook Summers had 2 kills.
BHS was entered in the NISD/NEISD tourney last week where senior Lauren Magnus recorded her 1,000th career assist.
