Comfort High hosted a tri-match Tuesday night and welcomed the volleyball teams from Bandera and Center Point.
It was a good night for the Comfort Deer after they beat the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Pirates to pick up two wins.
Comfort swept Center Point in straight sets, 25-20, 25-22, 25-17. After Bandera played Center Point, the Deer went five sets with the Bulldogs before prevailing, 25-22, 15-25, 22-25, 26-24, 17-15.
The match against Bandera was a thriller and the last two games went beyond the 25 and 15 points needed because it was so evenly matched.
Rylie Zuniga dropped in three aces against the Bulldogs and Tindall Ahrens added three aces, while Ahrens finished with 16 kills and 14 digs.
Isabella Hernandez came up with 13 digs, Emily Hill tallied 11 kills, Mallie Knight had a solo block and recorded eight kills, while Savana Womble tallied 37 assists.
Against Center Point, Rylie Zuniga tallied four aces, Emily Hill and Tindall Ahrens finished with two aces apiece. Ahrens added 15 kills and 13 digs, while Hill and Mallie Knight both recorded five kills.
Savana Womble led the team in assists and dished out 16 of them, while Lexie Womble added 10 assists and Hill came up with two blocks.
