Boerne High and Alamo Heights entered Tuesday’s district contest at Greyhound Gym with perfect district marks, but it was BHS that remained undefeated in 26-5A after they swept the Lady Mules.
The Lady Greyhounds claimed Tuesday’s victory, 25-19, 25-15, 25-18 and improved to 23-4 overall and 4-0 in district.
Boerne hosted crosstown rival Boerne Champion on Friday and then closes out the first round of 26-5A action on Tuesday at John Jay. Friday’s winner will be the only undefeated team left in the district. The Greyhounds begin the second round of district on Oct. 2, at Harlandale.
