Comfort High opened district volleyball action Tuesday on the road at Blanco and was swept by the Lady Panthers.
Blanco won in straight sets, 25-16, 25-16, 25-14. The Deer slipped to 16-16 overall and began district play at 0-1.
Comfort continued league action Friday at Florence and then visits Ingram Moore on Tuesday as they start district play with three straight road matches.
In Tuesday’ match, Tindall Ahrens finished with a double- double and led Comfort with 11 kills and 13 digs, Emily Hill served up two aces, Anahi Martinez tallied 8 digs and Rylie Zuniga finished with eight digs each, while Savana Womble had four digs.
Savana Womble added 11 assists and Lexie Womble tallied seven assists.
