The Geneva School of Boerne volleyball team continued district play on Tuesday at New Braunfels Christian Academy and suffered their first district loss.
NBCA defeated the Eagles in straight sets, 25-15, 25-18, 25-21 and dropped Geneva is 19-14 overall and 2-1 in district. Geneva hosted Corpus Christi Incarnate on Thursday and is home again Tuesday to host Holy Cross.
The Eagles have been road warriors of late and were at Corpus Christi John Paul II last Thursday, played at Comfort on Friday and were in New Braunfels on Tuesday, so it was probably good to be home on Thursday vs CC Incarnate Word.
