Pet-friendly residences have access to amenities, developer says
Morningside at Menger Springs will mark its continued expansion into the Boerne area when it officially opens its new neighborhood, Terrace Homes, with an Oct. 30 ribbon cutting, officials said.
Terrace Homes is adding 74 independent living residences to Morningside at Menger Springs, which sits on 42 acres alongside Menger Creek, according to a release.
The developer said Morningside at Menger Springs offers senior care ranging from independent living and assisted living, to memory care and long-term care.
“This new neighborhood represents the next chapter of our commitment to providing exceptional senior living experiences,” said CEO Patrick Crump. “We look forward to welcoming the community inside to experience firsthand what makes Morningside at Menger Springs so special.”
The open house, slated for 10 a.m. to noon, is free and open to the public at 910 Tradition Circle.
The $32.7 million project opens another 160,000 square feet to the Morningside complex.
The event includes an open house and tours of homes in the new neighborhood.
Terrace Homes is one of two planned expansions for the senior living community.
The Vistas, a $45 million, 51-unit independent living apartment complex, will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and is due to open in 2027, the company said.
Terrace Homes offers oneand two-bedroom homes based around Tradition Circle, toward the rear of the Morningside complex off Interstate 10 East.
The pet-friendly community offers one- and two-bedroom floor plans that range in size from 946 to 2,600 square feet, the developer said.
Residents will have access to a clubhouse, a fitness center, an outdoor amphitheater, a covered pool and wellness amenities.
Each unit includes a private patio or a balcony, according to the release.
