The Little Big Art Show is here

CELEBRATING THE ARTS

Thirty-nine BVA artists will be participating in this year’s Little Big Art Show, and it is now time to bring in the crowd. Invite friends and family to attend the show and sell, and become acquainted with the talented Boerne Visual Artists. Following, enjoy a day on Boerne’s Hill Country Mile.

Help us make this year’s Little Big Art Show a great one.

The mission of BVA is to contribute to the cultural enrichment of the greater Boerne area by empowering artists and promoting interest, education and participation in the visual arts.

“The idea for another art organization in the Boerne area began in 2024,” said Paula Lay, the organization’s first president. “A few artist friends were talking about how we missed being part of a larger group. We missed hearing about other artists’ art projects.

“We missed exchanging ideas and information. We missed the energy that was created when we are in the presence of other artists,” she said.

“And so we gathered some artists to form a focus group to determine whether or not there was interest in forming a group and what that group might look like.”

And as they say, the rest is history. For more information, and to join, refer to www..boernevisualartists.org.

HCCArts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and recognized by Americans for the Arts as the Hill Country Business Committee for the Arts. The focus is to enhance community awareness, develop opportunities for involvement, encourage individual and corporate support, and to develop a long-range plan for promoting, and cross-pollinating the arts within the 19 counties of Texas Hill Country.
