The Champion football V/JV teams began practices this week, while the freshman squad has been going at it since July 31. The Chargers scrimmage Churchill on Thursday before starting the regular season the follow week in Laredo. The Chargers scrimmage Churchill Thursday and open the season next week in Laredo.
