LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. DECEMBER 6

7:48 a.m., 100 block of Texas Cedar Trail – A caller reported illegal dumping in the area. Law enforcement investigated and found construction bags and a sewer pipe.

2:25 p.m., 100 block of Kendall Ridge – A caller reported someone came onto her property and knocked on her door during the night.

4:38 p.m., 100 block of Whitworth Drive – A caller reported that a drone followed him from his house to his place of employment twice in the past month. The caller was concerned and wanted the matter documented.

10:24 p.m., 100 block of Woodland Boulevard – A caller reported hearing three loud bangs in the area and was concerned they were occurring on her property.

DECEMBER 7

7:29 a.m., 400 block of FM 474 – A caller reported a male was wearing a blanket and walking on the side of the road. Roughly 30 minutes later, another caller reported the male. Law enforcement contacted the male.

2:59 p.m., 300 block of Crabapple Road – San Antonio P.D. requested assistance in checking for a stolen vehicle in the area.

5:00 p.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported two of her neighbor’s nine dogs had gotten out of the yard and were wandering near the highway.

7:01 p.m., 100 block of Scenic View – A woman calling on behalf of her father reported he had paid in full for an addition to be made to the caller’s residence; however, the work was never complete.

DECEMBER 8

5:10 a.m., 600 block of E. Blanco Road -- A caller was concerned about an individual carrying a toddler and walking around without shoes. It was found that the individual had accidentally locked himself out of his apartment.

9:10 a.m., mile marker 531 E. I-10 – Three goats were looking to hitchhike to Main Street for some Christmas shopping.

11:59 a.m., mile marker 529 E. I-10 – Possibly some of the same goats were reported to be on the side of the interstate, having had no luck with their hitchhiking attempts.

1:33 p.m., 40 block of Ammann Road – A caller reported a vehicle had followed his wife when she left their house that morning, and then followed her back home later. The caller added that the vehicle then parked across the street, still in close proximity to the caller’s wife. Law enforcement found the caller was working for a private investigator.

4:44 p.m., 700 block of Front Street – A caller reported he saw two males loading up, and stealing, a vehicle.

DECEMBER 9

12:56 a.m., 300 block of W. Highway 46 – A driver reported he had rolled his vehicle and was unable to get out. The driver added that he was bleeding but was unsure of where it was coming from. An ambulance was called for medical assistance.

11:23 a.m., 100 block of W. Cleo Lane – A caller reported a male and female had been at the caller’s door before then going to the gate. The caller reported the individuals were then driving away from the location but were possibly stopping at a neighboring house.

11:58 a.m., 100 block of Peek Ranch Road – A caller reported five dead deer in the area, with a rather noticeable smell.

12:47 p.m., 200 block of Seven Sisters Drive – A stolen vehicle was reported to be located in Kendall County. The vehicle had been stolen two days earlier but was pinging in the area.

2:38 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A husband called to report his wife’s phone had been stolen. The caller was able to provide dispatch with the location where the stolen phone was pinging.

DECEMBER 10

1:34 a.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge – A caller reported an individual was walking around, looking under RVs. The caller SAID she suspected the individual may have tried to open her window.

2:10 a.m., 52000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported people who were shooting deer under the bridges. The caller seemed to be concerned about the large blood trails the people had left.

6:22 am., on N. Highway 87 – An employee called in to report someone attempted to steal an empty trashcan from the location but was unsuccessful. The employer also let dispatch know which direction the individual had gone.

10:59 a.m., mile marker 523 W. I-10 – A pickup truck was involved in an accident. The vehicle was off the interstate. Although the driver was able to exit his vehicle, he was complaining of experiencing back pain.

1:00 p.m., 100 block Riverwood – A caller reported she had received a call from a male who claimed there was a warrant out for the caller, for a failure to appear in court. The caller added that the male was requesting money.

DECEMBER 11

8:25 a.m., 100 block of Ranch Drive – A caller reported they unintentionally trapped a skunk in a fence on their property.

10:38 a.m., mile marker 536 E. I-10 – A motorist called, concerned about a male who appeared to be sleeping on the side of the road and was in the fetal position. Another second caller also reported the male.

11:19 a.m., 700 block of Walnut Way – A caller reported receiving a scam call saying he had two warrants out and needed to pay money to “take care” of it.

12:48 p.m., 200 block of Holiday Road – A caller reported receiving a call from a health insurance provider requesting personal information. However, when the caller then directly contacted her insurance company, they told her it was a scam.

4:02 p.m., on Sendero Ridge – A caller reported she was being harassed aby another woman via phone, text and online messaging. The caller said a threat of gun violence had also occurred.

4:33 p.m., on Staudt Street – Another caller reported receiving a scam call from an individual claiming to be with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The caller was told that he had missed a court date and had an active warrant out.

DECEMBER 12

1:38 a.m., 43000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a male was sleeping in his vehicle. Law enforcement contacted the male, who thought the location was a rest stop.

5:33 a.m., 100 block of Meadow Lane – A caller reported someone had tampered with her vehicle and had shattered a screen. The caller suspected it was related to another matter.

10:10 a.m., 400 block of FM 289 – A caller reported they thought an 18-wheeler was stuck under the interstate and was blocking the road.

2:53 p.m., 3000 block of Clubs Drive – A caller reported receiving a scam call from Kendall County deputy, requesting money.

5:18 p.m., on Staudt Street – Another caller reported receiving a scam call from Kendall County law enforcement, claiming there was a warrant out for the caller’s arrest.
