LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. JAN. 17

2:26 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A mother calling on behalf of her daughter reported a group of males standing in her daughter’s apartment’s parking lot.

7:09 a.m., 100 block of Esperanza Boulevard – A caller reported the road had iced over due to sprinkler water going into the road. The caller was requesting a salt truck to help ensure the road was drivable.

10:46 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox Lane – A caller from out–of–state reported she bought a vehicle from her mother and had the title. However, the caller had not yet registered the vehicle in her own name yet. The mother was threatening to have the vehicle towed from her property.

2:13 p.m., 200 block of Azalea Trail – A caller reported someone was harassing her via social media messaging apps.

8:20 p.m., mile marker 538, W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported an 18-wheeler carrying pipes had swerved into the caller’s lane, almost hitting the caller’s vehicle.

JAN. 18

12:25 a.m., Herff Road/Green Meadows – A vehicle was pulled over and a field sobriety test was administered. The individual was read their rights and taken into custody.

1:39 a.m., 100 block of Acorn Circle – A security company notified law enforcement of individuals at a construction site who appeared to be taking items from the site and putting them in the back of a truck. Law enforcement found the individual was a contractor and allowed to be there.

9:46 a.m., 1200 block N. Main Street – A caller reported a male who was seen attempting to get into vehicles in the parking lot. The male had left the location after trying to get in a vehicle with someone inside.

1:28 p.m., 32000 block of I-10 – A fire was reported along the access road. The fire seemed to have been started by a cutting torch and was successfully extinguished by Boerne FD.

4:47 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A physical fight was reported between three males. One of the males was reported to be bleeding and have difficulty breathing. One of the involved parties was taken to the emergency room.

9:23 a.m., 400 block of River Road – A caller reported two men had been filming her young granddaughters.

2:39 p.m., 300 block of Herff Ranch Boulevard – A woman was walking her dog when she noticed a duffel bag or backpack under a tree. The location was close to an elementary school and the caller was concerned about the contents of the bag.

3:21 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller had heard that someone was using his name to get employment in Boerne.

9:14 p.m., mile marker 538 W. I-10 – A caller was worried about a vehicle that was pulled over on the side of the interstate and was going to export to Mexico.

8:04 a.m., 100 block of Norris Lane – An employee reported an unknown vehicle was sitting in the parking lot when she arrived that morning.

10:22 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road – A stolen vehicle alert service alerted law enforcement of a stolen vehicle on the interstate.

12:42 pm., 1100 block of S. Main Street – A two-vehicle accident occurred, with one of the vehicles ending upside down. A second accident then occurred at the same location. The road was cleared and no serious injuries were reported.

12:54 p.m., 200 block of W. Bandera Road – A caller reported a table had been set up at the location and the individuals were taking people’s donations by writing down their credit card information. The caller was unsure of the legality of the situation.

1:56 p.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a family friend who the caller suspected of being intoxicated. The caller was worried about the male potentially getting on the road and driving away. The male was detained and taken into custody.

2:31 p.m., 100 block of City Park Road – A caller reported his vehicle’s back window had been broken and the caller’s purse was stolen. Additionally, the vehicle next to the caller’s had been broken into.

JAN. 21

12:09 p.m., 36000 block of W. I-10 – An employee reported a male and female who were giving the employee the runaround about paying the bill.

12:13 p.m., on Ranger Creek Road/ Interstate 10 – A two-vehicle accident occurred and was blocking traffic. The caller, involved in the accident, reported difficulty breathing, neck and chest pain.

JAN. 22

8:32 a.m., mile marker 539 W. I-10 – A woman needed assistance after hearing a noise when she was driving, followed by her vehicle smoking.

1:47 p.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 – A male with an active warrant came into the Boerne PD lobby. The male was detained and taken into custody.

JAN. 17

9:56 a.m., 400 block of Vamanos – A caller reported a sink and faucets had been stolen from a house that was under construction.

12:19 p.m., 100 block of Ranger Creek Road – A caller reported a vehicle was on fire and leaking fuel. Boerne FD was contacted. The fire had been extinguished before the fire department arrived, but the vehicle was still smoking and leaking fuel.

2:40 p.m., on River Road/Esser Road – A caller reported her teenager had run away and stolen her vehicle. Law enforcement located the vehicle and began pursuit. The vehicle was eventually stopped after first wrecking into another vehicle. Two occupants got out of the vehicle and began fleeing on foot.

3:34 p.m., 400 block of FM 1376 – A caller reported his girlfriend was threatening him via text message.

7:49 p.m., Coleman Springs – A caller said an unknown pickup had backed into their driveway and dumped loads of trash into the caller’s dumpster. The caller said the unknown truck driver had damaged the caller’s driveway.

JAN. 18

12:05 p.m., 100 block of Main Street – A caller reported someone had made a false social media account under the caller’s name and was posting private things about the caller.

5:10 p.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported receiving a scam call from the KCSO, saying the caller had missed a jury summons and needed to pay money. The caller suspected it was a fraudulent call.

5:19 p.m., 30 block of Kreutzberg Road – A cow was trying to escape for an evening stroll. Luckily the caller managed to contain the cow before it wandered into traffic.

9:30 p.m., 29000 block of W. I-10 – A caller was concerned about a male who was dressed in reflective clothing and had a computer. The male then set down the computer and began doing jumping jacks.

JAN. 19

12:54 a.m., mile marker 545 W. I-10 – A caller reported an 18-wheeler was struggling to stay in one lane and struggling to maintain the speed limit. The caller had been driving behind the truck for over 10 miles. The vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop and a consent search ensued.

9:19 a.m., 100 block of Wild Turkey Boulevard – A caller reported that someone had dumped a bunch of tires on their property.

10:29 a.m., 30000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported he made a deal with one of the car dealerships and had sent over the money. However, the deal fell through and the caller was refunded the money and then taken the money back out.

6:50 p.m., 100 block of Scissor Tail Trail – A frustrated caller reported someone in the neighborhood was letting his three dogs run loose. The caller explained this was an ongoing issue.

JAN. 20

2:02 a.m., 100 block of Kendall Falls Road – A caller reported seeing an intoxicated woman walking around the neighborhood. While the caller was speaking with dispatch, the woman began attempting to go to sleep on the side of the road.

7:45 a.m., 100 block of Emerald Hill Road – A caller reported a male was hunting on her property. Law enforcement came to the location and were unable to locate anyone hunting on the property.

11:36 a.m., 100 block of Escalera Circle – A caller reported receiving a scam call that she was being held in contempt of court due to missing jury duty and owed money. The caller wanted to verify that the call was a scam.

11:46 a.m., 200 block of Bluebonnet Drive – A caller reported a mysterious cat had been hanging around the caller’s front door. All was well until the cat attacked the caller, resulting in the caller having to go to urgent care.

JAN. 21

12:00 a.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – A neighbor reported seeing someone in a neighboring house, despite the homeowner being out of town for several days. Law enforcement came to look at the residence and found no criminal activity.

6:17 a.m., 300 block of N. Pleasant Valley Drive – A single-vehicle accident resulted in the vehicle on its side. The driver was not injured and was trying to flip the vehicle back over. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

7:41 a.m., 200 block of Bluebonnet Drive – A caller reported she had trapped the cat that had attacked and bit her the prior day.

1:08 p.m., 300 block of Silent Spring Drive – A caller reported two males who were shooting at the location. A female was attempting to confront the males. Law enforcement found that no offense had occurred, and the males were hunting on private property.

2:42 p.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 – A single-vehicle accident occurred, with the vehicle rolling over and going through a fence. The driver was luckily not seriously injured. The vehicle required a wrecker.

3:48 p.m., 100 block of Sentido – A caller reported a group of males was taking construction items from around the neighborhood. Law enforcement contacted the males who were under the impression the items were trash.

JAN. 22

12:07 a.m., 31000 block of E. I-10 – A female was reported to have driven off the interstate and wrecked into the caller’s vehicle. The caller was able to walk the woman inside the building. An ambulance was called after she complained of head and back injuries.

3:56 p.m., 500 block of N. Walnut Grove Road – A caller reported someone had come onto their property and cut down some trees.

5:26 p.m., 700 block of FM 289 – A male did not have his dog on a leash, despite previous warnings to do so.

6:46 p.m., on Allen Road – Two juveniles were fighting. One was reported to have broken a fire extinguisher off the wall and thrown it at the other. EMS was contacted. One of the juveniles was detained and taken into custody.
