The Comfort baseball team tallied 13 runs in the first inning of Tuesday’s game with Leakey on its way to a 14-0 victory in only 2.5 innings.
Comfort improves to 8-2 overall and plays at Harper Saturday before visiting Geneva School of Boerne Monday.
The Bobcats used 7 hits, 6 walks and 2 hit batters to push in its 14 runs.
Izzy Lopez tripled, walked, drove in a run and scored twice, Luke Bohnert doubled, picked up 2 RBI and scored once, Mason West walked and plated 2 runs, Mason Matter scored once, Brooks Davis singled, pushed in a run and scored 3 times, Juan Zarate walked and scored, Tucker Rust knocked out 2 hits and scored twice, Cade Woerner walked twice and scored once, Zach Jones drove in a run and Noah Bohnert singled and scored.
Jones picked up the win on 33 pitches and didn’t give up a hit or run, walked 1 and fanned 3.
