Marcy Branson has been named Area Publisher for the Boerne Star and Bandera Bulletin by officials at Granite Media Partners Inc., owner of both publications.
Granite Media officials said Branson, a 27-year veteran in news, sales and advertising organizations, brings a unique kind of energy to the Hill Country Group, as well as decades of experience.
“Marcy is the perfect publisher to oversee the Boerne Star and Bandera Bulletin. She is a thorough manager, a veteran newspaper salesperson, very experienced with community publications and a great team leader,” said Thomas Edwards, the executive editor for Granite.
