Boerne High School senior student Makenna Adams is the recipient of the 2024 Tapatio Springs Men’s Golf Association $1,000 scholarship. Adams is the granddaughter of MGA member Skipper Hamilton.
An excellent student, Adams is active in HOSA (future health occupations students of America) and has also done volunteer work for the symphony bells of Midland and Young Life.
In her application essay, Adams spoke eloquently of her personal growth in embracing and overcoming challenges in her life, developing resilience and personal growth.
