Comfort game at Brackett canceled

Comfort High was on the road to take on Brackett but the game was never played. A 20 percent chance of rain turned into a lightning and rain storm and kept the players from taking the field. The teams tried to wait it out but at about 8 p.m., it was called and won’t be made up. Instead, Comfort will only play nine regular-season games this year. The Bobcats are home Friday against Dilley in what will be their home and season opener.
