Carriage House Gallery of Artists invites you to celebrate a new year with new art of Katrina Gorman from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 8. Enjoy a glass of wine and chocolates while becoming acquainted with Gorman and her passion for fiber art.

Gorman was born in Indiana. She began drawing at an early age to illustrate her short stories. At age 9n, she began developing her attraction to fabric through her mom’s sewing. In sixth grade, Gorman made her wardrobe for the school year! In high school she received several art awards and a scholarship.

Gorman earned her degree in child development and taught early childhood education. A tragedy later in life provided the inspiration to pursue her love of art.
