Looking to make a difference in this community and worldwide? The Boerne CROP Hunger Walk Nov. 12 is an opportunity to help end hunger and poverty through long-term sustainable approaches. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will go to support Hill Country Family Services – a vital local resource for families in crisis. Remaining funds support the international relief and development work of Church World Service.
Last year, 74 Boerne walkers raised more than $2,000. Organizers hope more participants will make an even greater impact this year.
The CROP Hunger Walk brings together all members of the community – young and old, all faiths and walks of life – for the common goal of ending hunger one step at a time! Churches, clubs, student groups and individuals are invited to participate in this interfaith CROP Hunger Walk.
