Fair Oaks Ranch Rotarians earn club of the year honors

The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch was recognized as the 2021-22 “Club of the Year” at the Annual Rotary District 5840 Conference held Nov. 9 through Nov. 11 in Kerrville. In addition, Greg Maxton, who served as president during the July 2021 to June 2022 rotary year, was selected as “President of the Year.”

The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch was recognized as the 2021-22 “Club of the Year” at the Annual Rotary District 5840 Conference held Nov. 9 through Nov. 11 in Kerrville. In addition, Greg Maxton, who served as president during the July 2021 to June 2022 rotary year, was selected as “President of the Year.”

The club came away with honors and certificates in several categories, including Service Projects Completed, Growth in Membership, Public Image Rotary Rockstar, Rotary Goals Citation, Polio Plus Giving All Stars and Rotary Foundation Per Capita Giving & 100 percent Member Participation.

Rotarians share a passion for and a commitment to enhancing communities and improving lives both locally and around the globe. The Fair Oaks Ranch Club, chartered in 2012, was the first and remains the only community service organization located within the city. Rotary District 5840 encompasses much of south-central Texas and includes 54 Rotary Clubs spread out over 44 counties.
